A Gazebo Finale

The Presbyterian Church of the Mountain in Delaware Water Gap, PA presented Bonnie Childs and the Church of the Mt Band on Sunday August 29th as the Grand Finale of their Summer Gazebo Concert Series. Although there were some technical glitches significantly effecting the sound system, the performance proved to be a fitting end to the seasonal musical treats. The show was filled with familiar songs from the 60s, 70s, and 80’ which led many to sing along while clapping their hands.

The warm summer temperatures were reflected in the congenial style of the musicians which withheld any thought of the upcoming Autumnal change that is will occur in a few weeks. Yet, there was a bittersweet quality to the concert as the audience realized the time has come to bid both the series and the season a fond adieu. The Presbyterian Church of the Mountain (PMOC) will holds their Summer Gazebo Concert Series every Sunday during the months of June through August 29th beginning at 6pm. The concert are free and open to the public with concessions available for purchase. When it rains (or if rain is expected), the concert moves inside the church itself.
