Summertime and the SOHO is Burgie

On a day that enchanted the area with its beautiful weather, The SOHO in the BURG Gallery in Stroudsburg, PA exemplified this delightful meteorological mood as they held an Artists' Reception for their Summer Show on Saturday June 4^th. The wonderful arrays of colors and depictions of the upcoming season adorned the walls and the hearts of the numerous art lovers who ventured into the establishment. The work itself was created by a variety of artists whose individualized approaches to the exhibit's theme's encompassed all of the aspects one associates with the season.

An excellent display of foods complimented the exhibit as those who gathered around the tasty delights shared conversations that manifested the love they shared for the art, the gallery, and each other into tangible concepts. This was further epitomized by the effervescent personality and exuberant energies of its owner, Andrea Robbins Rimberg, which has remained steadfast since the establishment opened its welcoming door in the April of 2012. It was a great time had by all which created a desire to experience the exhibits and other offerings the gallery has in store during the coming months. The SOHO in the BURG Gallery is located on the corner of 6th and Main Street in Stroudsburg, PA which was the location of the J. J. Newberry’s store. The gallery opened its doors to the public. The run of the Summer Show is yet to be determined but the work will likely be on display until around July 30^th. Their next exhibit is yet to be announced. In addition to the art exhibitions held in the venue, the gallery offers a wide variety of classes designed to enhance an appreciation for the arts.
