The Sherman Theatre* in Stroudsburg, PA presented The USAF Heritage Aire Celtic Ensemble (www.heritageofamericaband.af.mil) from the Air Force Base in Langley, VA in a program entitled, “Heritage Aire” on Saturday June 14th under the direction of TSgt Sherry Burt on Flute, Whistles, and Vocals along with Tsgt Gail Adams on Guitar and Vocals, Ssgt Chuck lawyer on Bodhran, Keyboards, and Vocals, Ssgt Lacey Stokes on Accordion and Clarinet, and SrA Amy McCann on Whistles, Flute, and Clarinet. The evening featured the traditional music of Ireland, Scotland, and England which aroused the sizable and appreciative audience as the tapped their toes and sang along. Richard Berkowitz*, Bill Kelly*, Cheryl Yost*, Kendra Snuffer*, Beth Dollard*, and Theresa Woehrel* (all of the Sherman) were among the many as was Arline M. Smeltz* along with Donald, Anna, and Rose Busteed*. The next events at The Sherman Theatre* will be The Artbeat Dance Show at 2pm as an annual fundraiser for The Fine Arts Discover Series* and PA Dance Vision (PADV)* on Sunday June 15th and “Rock Around The Clock” featuring Bill Haley's Comets, The Vogues, and The Main Street Cruisers at 8pm on Saturday June 21st.
