A Film of Documented Wisdom

Photography by Paparazzi Paul.

The Pocono Cinema and Cultural Center in East Stroudsburg, PA presented a feature documentary film titled, “The Wisdom of Seniors” on Saturday June 25th in its third screening room. The film consisted of a series of interviews with individuals living in Monroe County, PA who are over the age of 70. These individuals were Andrea Rimberg, David Rimberg, Charles Rebagliati, Marcia Flammonde, and Bill Goodwin who has distinguished themselves in the areas of the visual arts, music, and business. Interviews were conducted by Anthony Cuttitta who also served as the film's Executive Producer.

A variety of topics ranging from spiritually to prescribing approaches to life for younger members of the audience were explored. The insights that were shared proved to be very interesting and often ventured into the realms of the fascinating. The series was very well made and sustained a thoughtfully entertaining air throughout the screening. The film was followed by a Question and Answer session which afforded an opportunity for the sizable audience in attendance to learn more about the project from Brandon Martelle Jones (Production and Design), Reverend Dude (AKA Jake Roth) (Equipment Specialist), and Anthony Cuttitta. Other individuals associated with the film but were not present at the screening are Elizabeth Streczyk (Logo Design) and Adam Niewood (Theme Music). The session concluded with sentiments of appreciation expressed and conversations coming to the fore that lent more insight to the endeavor for both the audience and filmmakers.
