The
Eastburg Community Alliance held their weekly Music on Mondays event
at The Historic Dansbury Depot in East Stroudsburg, PA on Monday June
22nd.
I arrived prior to the music was scheduled to be performed by
guitarist Chris London so I could partake of the Farmer's Market
which not only offered a stand filled with produce (such as Baarda

did) but other vendors offering a variety of items and merchandise to
be purchased as well. These merchants included the Fancy Girl Jewelry
Bar

Jams and Jellies.
These
vendors populated the outside area of the Depot and the shining sun
illuminated the merchants' wares as a number of interested buyers
gathered around each table. Inside the train station was a display
presented by Pocono Fine Arts Photography

that offered those who came in to view the work a number of well
composed pieces created by David Sandt that showcased the beauty of
the subjects that were captured within the frame. After a time, those
who gathered around the indoor photography and the outdoor shops
communally sensed the moment to begin setting up their chairs in
preparation for the concert would soon be upon them. They were right.

skillfully moved his deft fingers along the strings of his guitar
creating spellbinding sounds through the instrument as well as from
the computerized accompaniments he employed to enhance the
substantive qualities of each composition. The range of Mr. London's
repertoire focused on a variety of remembered tunes that provoked the
recollections that dwelled within each listener's heart. It was a
relaxing early evening that held the warmth of the day in the souls
of the gentle number of people who attended. You'll
