Creativity Shared at ESU

East Stroudsburg University (ESU)* in East Stroudsburg, PA held an opening reception on Wednesday March 18th in honor of whose participating in their Annual Art Association Juried Student Art Exhibition presented in The Madelon Powers Gallery located in the campus’ Fine and Performing Arts Center. A wide variety of styles and themes were presented in the works which enhanced everyone who experienced them.

The University’s Society for the Arts* awarded scholarships to those exceptional artists who were selected as such by the exhibition’s jurors. The ESU Art Association awarded prizes to those selected as Honorable mentioned. There was also an additional exhibition entitled, “Food for Thought” featuring the work of the Design II Students taking place on the Gallery’s Balcony.

Among the many artists presenting their work were Nicole Hammond* and Anthony Garbarino* while the awards were presented by Prof. Darlene Farris LaBar*. Among those present to be transcended by the creativity included Dr. Peter Hawk*, Professor Erma Duriko*, Professor Susan O Hearn*, Professor Margaret Ball*, Professor Miharu Lane*, Dave Asum*, Christie Berlane*, and Arline M. Smeltz*. I’m sure many of you reading this were there and not mentioned in this article.
